Statement of Faith
The Bible
​
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God; our only basis for all matters of faith and practice.

The Trinity
​
We believe that there is one God, existing eternally in three persons- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit- full of love, grace, and glory.
We believe in God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth. He is unchangeable in his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.
We believe in God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ- in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal future return to this earth in power and glory- the blessed hope.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit, sent as a gift to work on us, to work through us, and to dwell in us. He has been at work from the beginning until today: in creation, speaking through the prophets, through the incarnation of Jesus, working miracles, birthing the Church, and bringing about salvation, growth in Christ, and glorification of the believer. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. The Holy Spirit exerts his sanctifying power by indwelling the Christian with an endowment to live a holy life.
Through baptism in the Holy Spirit, the power and presence of God flows to the believer. In this way, God administers his gifts to members of his body for the common good as he wills.

Healing of the Soul and Body

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer, according to the will of God. We believe that God is both omnipotent and sovereign in healing.

Living the Christian Life
​
We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ as we wait for the day of his glorious appearing. We believe in the application of Scripture to issues, including but not limited to the sanctity of life in the womb, the Creator’s assignment of gender as male and female, and the framework of marriage as being between one man and one woman.

The Return of Jesus Christ
​
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
